What started as a little girl creating doll clothing from her grandmother’s remnant fabrics slowly became a legacy built through generations of strong, creative women.

My grandmother, a single mother with extraordinary talent, used sewing as a way to create independence and opportunity for herself and her family. Then came my mother — a true fashionista with dramatic flair, bold dreams, and an eye for style that turned heads everywhere she went.

My mother studied fashion design under Gordon Fleck, a respected South African fashion educator. My aunt studied design too, and safe to say, creativity runs deeply through my blood.

Watching my grandmother taught me pivotal cutting skills and a deep understanding of fabric, while my mother taught me how to design, construct, and stitch garments properly — turning creativity into craftsmanship.
